Flexible Bus Bars

DescriptionThese flexible bus bars are made from pure copper. 25mm x 3mm cross section provides plenty of capability of current for the most demanding systems. They with handle in excess of 400A continuous easily. Because there are no crimps, there’s minimal loss across the entire bar. They are made from laminated copper strips, fused and plated at each end, and finished with colour coded heatshrink to help identify positive and negative. They are very flexible to go around corners and prevent stress on your components. They form an incredibly neat system with ultra low profile bus bars (maximum thickness including heatshrink is <5mm), so you can fit these in the tightest of spaces.*** Note that the EE bars do NOT fit the Scout 2026 model battery, stay tuned for an updated version ***Parallel 2, 3, 4 or more batteries. The time saved making awkward short cables and manipulating them into position, is well worth it.The SS version is specifically designed to suit our Scout, Cabin and Cub batteries. When mounted side by Side by Side, you can have up to 10mm space between Scout batteries, allowing ample room for straps. When used with Cub batteries you can have up to 20mm between the batteries. Batteries can also be mounted right next to each other to minimise space. Due to the design, they make it very difficult to accidentally short circuit a battery.The EE version is designed to parallel our Scout and Cabin batteries when mounted End to End. This format is excellent for tunnel boots to preserve through space for all your other gear. These are also excellent for connecting Shunts, Fuses, Distribution Blocks etc to your system.While the bars can easily be manipulated, we recommend if you use them with funky bends, warm them with a heat gun to help the heatshrink mould to the new position. The holes are sized to accept M8 bolts, however they may be drilled out to 10mm to suit most Shunts. We recommend using a deep step drill to enlarge the holes.Freight info – The best way for us to send these is in an express post bag which can take up to 5kg. The SS style are 170g each, and the EE style are 274g each. Allow up to 250g for packing material so 13 pairs of the SS style, or 8 pairs of the EE style will fit. Or of course a mixture of each. We can pack limited numbers with a battery order.
