Norfolk blue and white china by Royal Doulton is decorated with blue transfer printed designs depicting the rural scenes found in Victorian Norfolk such as old farmhouses, poplar trees and windmills. All pieces have the base mark for the Royal Doulton factory – In 1901 the company introduced the lion, crown and ‘intersecting D motif’. Doulton became ‘Royal Doulton’ with the Royal Warrant given by King Edward VII in 1901. Rd # 251612 & 597783 Trio consists of ….. Tea cup – 5.5 cm tall x 9.5 cm diameter Saucer – 15 cm Plate – 16.5 cm Lovely vintage condition, bright colours, no chips or cracks but may have some surface crazing on some pieces as with ceramics of this age. 100 years .
